PickPart — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PickPart ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the PickPart mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve the App. Types of information:

a) Information You Provide Directly

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password;
• Profile details: vehicle make/model, delivery address, preferences;
• Messages: content and metadata of messages exchanged with dealers;
• Purchase information: order details, invoices, and payment receipts (note: payment card data is handled by third-party payment processors unless stored by you or a dealer);
• Support communications: support requests, feedback, and related info.

b) Automatically Collected Information

• Usage data: pages viewed, search queries, interactions, timestamps;
• Device & technical data: device type, OS, app version, IP address, and identifiers;
• Location: approximate or precise location only if you grant permission;
• Cookies and similar technologies: for analytics and app functionality.

c) Third-party Sources

We may obtain information from third parties such as social login providers, identity verification services, analytics providers, or public sources.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and features (search, messaging, match with dealers);
• Process orders and facilitate transactions with dealers;
• Communicate with you about accounts, orders, and support;
• Analyze usage to detect, prevent, and address technical issues and fraud;
• Personalize your experience and show relevant offers and recommendations;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

We may share information with:

• Dealers: to fulfill orders, provide search results, and facilitate communications;
• Service providers: payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics, messaging services;
• Legal reasons: to comply with legal process, protect rights, or prevent fraud;
• Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale we may transfer user data as part of the transaction (with notice to users as required by law).

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services (for example analytics, crash reporting, cloud providers, and payment processors). These providers may collect and process data under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices—please review their policies directly.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to provide core functionality (session management) and analytics. You can control some tracking choices in your device or app settings. Opting out may limit certain features.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirements.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Report suspected breaches to our support team immediately.

Subject to Lebanese law and applicable regulations, you may have rights including:

9. Children

The App is not intended for children under the age of majority in Lebanon. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete it.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Lebanon. When transfers occur, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we make material changes we will provide notice via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
